- Set up Gmail account that you want to use for email alerts.
- Enable 2-factor Authentication on Gmail account.
- Search Gmail settings for "App Password" and select "Other (custom name)":
- Enter a name for the app and select "Generate" to be given a password.
- Navigate to the "Settings" Tab in ENLIGHT and enter the information shown below into the "Notification" Section:
- You will use the gmail address you created and the "App Password" that was generated by Gmail in step 4.
- You can now enter in email addresses in the "Alerts" tab by clicking the
button in the message notification section. Enter a name, email, check the "Active" box, and then select which types of alerts you want to be notified for:
- You can test that the email settings are configured properly by clicking the
button.
