ODiSI 6000 Series – Failed Software Update

Overview

In rare cases, a software update on an ODiSI 6100 series controller (Generation 6) may fail. This is considered a critical condition that requires immediate attention to prevent potential device inoperability.

Symptoms

• Software update process does not complete successfully
• Error message displayed during or after the update
• System prompts indicating update failure or interruption

Important Notice

Do NOT power off the ODiSI or controller under any circumstances during this condition.
Powering off the unit at this stage may result in permanent device failure and render the unit inoperable.

Required Action

1. Follow all on-screen prompts carefully.
   • The system is designed to guide you through the initial response steps.
   • You will typically be instructed to contact Technical Support.
2. Immediately contact Technical Support by submitting a ticket.
   • Provide all relevant details, including:
     • Unit model (ODiSI 6100 series – Gen 6)
     • Description of the issue
     • Any error messages displayed
     • Current state of the unit
3. Leave the device powered on and unchanged until further instructions are provided by the Technical Support team.

Additional Information

• Failed software updates on Gen 6 ODiSI systems are not recoverable through standard user actions.
