If your Luna ODiSI sensor is not identifying or custom keying is failing with a connector return loss error than it may be as simple as a dirty connection.
- Clean the sensor connector thoroughly with a Cletop cleaner or other fiber cleaner.
- On a 6100 series ODiSI disconnect the green bulkhead from the remote module and clean the blue connector as well.
- On a 7100 series ODiSI use the provided cleaner to clean the port on the remote module.
- If the problem persists use a fine tipped swab and rubbing alcohol to clean the remote module port (7100) or green bulkhead (6100).
- Give the alcohol a minute to evaporate before reconnecting.
