If your Windows-based OBR 4600 or OVA 5000 software is not connecting to the instrument, it might possibly be an issue with the USB drivers. Updating the drivers is fairly straightforward.
1. Look in the Windows device manager and see if you can see the <Luna Instrument> listed under USB devices. If so, this indicates the driver on the PC is good. If not, you should see an unidentified device.
2. Select the unidentified device, and reinstall the drivers. Do not search the internet for them; instead, tell Windows to look in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Luna Technologies\ directory, and check the box to search sub-directories.
3. The Computer will then find the drivers and install them.
